Jayde Zaccaria (studio owner)
Jayde started dancing at Jody Marshall Dance Company at the age of 4 and was there till the age of 20. During this time she focused on Jazz, Ballet and Tap but competing in Song and Dance, Caberet competitions was a highlight during her time at Jody’s. At the age of 17 Jayde completed a 10 week audition course at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Her passion for dance and drama led her to completing a bachelor degree in Communications majoring in Film and Video at Edith Cowan University, Mount Lawley. During this time she directed, acted, filmed and edited several films including a dance film with the 1st year dance students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Her passion then directed her into completing a graduate diploma in secondary education Majoring in Drama and minor in Dance. Whilst completing this degree she worked at a stage school teaching dance to students aged 4-16. For the past 4 years Jayde has been teaching Dance, Drama and Media full-time at a high school and truly loves watching her students use their creative ability to produce some entertaining performances. One of her major achievements during her short career is watch one of her graduates of 2012 achieve 95% in her year 12 WACE drama exam and be 1 of 4 selected out of all drama students in Western Australia to perform at the WA performing arts perspectives and has now been accepted into the acting course at WAAPA.
Kirstie Zaccaria (studio owner)
Kirstie has been dancing since the age of 3 at Jody Marshall Dance company focusing on Jazz, Tap, Contemporay, Hip Hop and Ballet. During this time she has competed in CSTD competitions, performed in several floor shows from charity to corporate events and is currently teaching/choreographing jazz and contemporary dance to high school students. Kirstie has always had a strong passion for dance and takes pride in ensuring every lesson she teaches focuses on technique, high energy and enjoyable classes.
